A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTORS
The desire to provide high-quality care was inspired by our family’s challenges with finding quality senior healthcare for our grandmother. In response, we set out to do something transformative for the seniors in our community; provide compassionate, effective, and transparent healthcare services.
When our grandmother, fondly known as “Po Po”, was diagnosed with dementia. We visited facilities throughout Texas looking for a place for her, but none met our standards. We wanted more than just a fancy building with nice people. We wanted a place that would actively enrich our grandmother's life with a holistic approach towards wellness; including regular physical activities, social interactions, and mental stimulation. We wanted consistent and kind caregivers that were in a safe community and had a regular schedule so she could feel safe and loved.
This experience had a profound effect on our family, especially our mother. She wanted to create a facility that would cater to all aspects of Alzheimer's care: a home that was both beautifully built and thoughtfully ran.
Georgetown Living Certified Alzheimer's Community is the fulfillment of that desire.
No one prepared us for the immediate sense of purpose and need we felt after spending every day with the residents and their families. We realized that the entire continuum of care for seniors, from home to senior community, to memory care, could benefit from our highest standards.
In response, we created Georgetown living certified Alzheimer's Community, Georgetown Home Health and Companions, StayWell Therapy, and Tranquility Hospice Care. Now we can provide seniors with the care that they deserve throughout the continuum of aging whether they are at home or call a senior living community home.
We can treat our clients how we wanted “Po Po” treated; with dignity, respect, and love while providing the best care possible. We all share a deep passion to serve our community. And to that end, feel a deep responsibility to ensure that our companies provide services that will have made our “Po Po” very happy.
